Very grateful for the opportunity to take care of my family. Their homes are so cheaply made, doesn’t complete the work. They only want the money not to give the customer a good product. We have had many incomplete work in the house, their response is sooo slow. I also became concerned when I noticed a wooden support beam that was split and was told that the house had already been inspected by their contracted inspector and was approved for next phase.

We had 4 people putting tape on walls for the painters, 2 days later nothing was done and half of the tape fell on the floor due to humidity because the house was left open. There's lots of builder jargon out there, but if you are in the market, then it's best to know a few terms.

Location & Hours
Give communities more than on model already. You will lose deals because you have been given lies to sell. With all the home builders out there, do not choose this one unless you love drama created by management. Childish behavior, intolerance, rude, unhelpful, ungrateful and demeaning. The block next to us, started after our street, started after our foundation was already in place for 4 months, and most of the block has people living on it.
The same floor plan or model can look very different with brick, siding or stone exteriors, but the entire outline can change from one elevation to the next while the underlying floor plan is the same. This is the worst builder I have ever dealt with. I closed on my home with a promise unfinished items would be completed with 30 days after closing. It is now almost 2 months later, and nothing has been completed.

Analyzing permits over the last 4 years shows that Richmond American Homes of Fl mostly works on new construction projects. Not enough support from office management, too many homes one person to effectively manage and build a quality home. The executive/corporate structure is extremely outdated and it shows through everything else. Benefits, pay, time off, regulations, etc. are all subpar. Lower level employees have to work extremely hard and it makes the executives a ridiculous amount of money.
Homebuyers may be limited in the options and upgrades which can be made to homes which are finished or already under construction. This rating has been stable over the past 12 months. Management is inconsistent and plays favorites. Rules apply to most, but not to all employees. Favorites are placed in best positions and kept there despite poor performance, including tardiness, lack of reporting as everyone else is subjected to. Work hours are long and responsibilities from all departments role down hill to sales staff. Marketing, production, construction, etc, sales is held responsible and often blamed.
